DVD Lessons are here!

Last week I started another activity in my classes. DVD lessons. Every 2 weeks the students go into the IEP computer lab and complete one of the DVD episodes on the DVD-rom that is supplied with their text book. The episodes include video stories with short exercises that check for understanding in English. Student are encouraged to keep their DVD's in good condition and bring audio head phones from home for the lesson.

Online Quizes are a Success!

Last week I started a new activity in my English classes. With the help of www.Englishexercises.org

I created an online vocabulary quiz that my students could access anytime in preparation for their unit test. When I compared last months test scores to this month there was a marked improvement. This is just one example of how I am trying to improve my students educational experience at BCC. Good Work Students!
